i felt the tone of the movie in this video more than i did in the others - both set by the music, the actors, and the car bombing at the beginning. we're supposed to be nervous and scared and that was very clear. the ending was simple but interesting - we now know this guy is a complete rookie (because he let the phone keep ringing and ringing) and he has to figure out a way to get out of this situation.
it also copied the style of the first one really well.
good job!!

Good video, I wish there had been some more dialogue though. Not to be picky but I sort of feel the explosion scene was merely put in just to show off that you have access to some neat effects.
That would seem possible, or maybe they just didn't feel like bringing guns into the second chapter. I think the car explosion was just a way to deal with Robert.
Do I smell a Redrock adapter? God the depth of field makes everything look so good. Thats why I love mine.
Great job guys. Great audio, great cinematography, great music, and great suspense. But to be fair, I'll give you one critique. Just before the car explodes, its out of focus. Now I think I see a rack focus, but I'm not sure. Therefore, I would have either A. Left the car out of focus and just blurred the explosion, or B. Have had the focus on the car the whole time. But the explosion was still a neat effect, and I personally think it adds a lot to the story. Whoever the deep voiced man is certainly has some power.
Stephen has the sexiest voice alive
Wow!
I have to agree with JakusB, the audio and music was on point. The picture quality was amazing, and I loved the pacing of the entire thing.
There is a very ominous/suspenseful feel to this: the voice, the explosion, the shots of Tony following Scott.
I also liked how there wasn't alot of added dialogue, which can hurt more than harm if the delivery is off.
Overall, great job.
I meant the added dialogue can hurt more than *help.
Ha! I just noticed @0:19-0:23 you can see the reflection of the dolly tracks on the side of the car... whoopsies...
pretty good...i like it but i think it is kinda anti-climactic that you show what's in the case...and not enough dialogue but I really like some of the shots.
It felt kind of lacking as far as a climax goes but there were definitely some great camera movements. Pretty good overall.
Hey, isn't that the guy from Streetwise?
Great production work. Car explosion made me up (had ear buds cranked). At first I didn't like the fact you showed money in the case UNTILL you also showed the phone, What else might be in the cae hummmmm??
How is this so far behind? Get some votes! (Judge votes are what it really comes down to though..."
It looks more like a letus adapter... Redrock is the little brother to the letus
Either way this was pretty good, the climax just left me a little unsatisfied.
@bpriode Thats debatable. All the different 35mm adapters have their pros and cons. Its like the mac/pc debate...
no letus is definitely better. check out philip bloom and steven dempsey for confirmation.
redrock is cheaper but makes good accessaries. letus makes a better adapter.
The explosion is probably my favorite part - definitely deserves to win! Excellent job - the music is perfect, too.
great job
A very strong effort. The girl with the lighter and the explosion in the background--excellent! I wonder if we need to see the money in the case so soon. The pursuit on the street is too close and does not work convincingly enough for real suspense. Um, how does the pursuer KNOW that the ringing phone is the one from the case/related to the person he is after? (maybe the phone should start ringing right after the explosion. . .as he goes into the building? (That is assuming it is being dialed by the person who made the earlier phine call and caused the explosion.) The ending might seem to be suspenseful, but it is a bit too open and a little flat, actually.
