Hmmm.... wheres the cliff hanger? I feel like it doesn't really leave much to build off of, but we'll have to see what the other four groups have in store. And, of course, welcome to Root Clip!
I agree, not much of a cliffhanger, but it is classic. "I don't know that guy." Awesome.
It feels like a premature, uncomfortable ending. His demeanor is really funny, though.
Sweet John Carpenter soundtrack.
lol
this video is amazing....Kevin Woodland's charachter was extremly convincing. I felt his terror! Kidnapper number 1 was also really good at kidnapping. If I had to be kidnapped I gotta say I would want to be kidnapped by number 1. The editing of this video is outstanding. I was really impressed! Great editing job! GREAT VIDEO IT KICKS BUTT!
It was sort on the short side. I liked the kidnapper in underarmor, that shirt made me think he meant bidness. Stealing the wallet and walking off seems more like an odd ending rather than a cliff hanger. A little more time can allow you to add lot more to the story. A solid attempt at following the story though.
Is that Jon Holley or Marlon Brando...No, it's Jon Holley
I liked the creative and apathetic take on humanity in this one.
I think you needed a better or smoother intro and I wish there'd been more to this clip--it seems like you guys could have pulled off a real contender. There does need to be a stronger cliffhanger for chapter 3 folks to hook onto in this sort of thing--maybe if you'd just returned to the kidnapping victim, had him again offer to get them whatever they wanted and then had the kidnappers look at each other as if considering, maybe signal the driver in a knowing way and have the car squeal tires and pull away... Then at least chapter 3 competitors can do something about the possible destination and what they'll have the guy actually do or get for them...
Anyhow, it's a decent start. Good luck!
There's TWO cliffhangers in here. Dude stole the kidnapped guys wallet, and the poor guy is still stuck with the kidnappers. Identity theft can be the guy in the sweatshirt AND the kidnappers in the car, and at least it went somewhere other than ending with another phone call. A little short but solid. Got my vote.
I wonder what's gonna happen with that guy the kidnappers have. Good job at cliffhangers. The guy on the bench was hilarious!
LOL That poor schmuk in the car! Has no wallet or friends to help. Kind of screwed up for that guy to take his wallet but still funny.
Short. Missed potential. Look forward to future submissions.
Needed to be longer & more developed. Showed potential.
Not enough there to adequately judge. You will have to invest more effort next time.
