Well that's retarded. This is for a grade, right?
How does this advance the story at all? Not very good, guys.
I really want to believe that this was some genius attempt at going against the grain. Some sort of statement about how art can't be contained or controlled. I want to think that this video will change the world (wide web) allowing people to see beyond any constraints.
I really want to believe.
I do think it was a very interesting way to half way do a project. While the dialogue was a few miles clear of clever, it was very funny and extremely accurate to several conversations I had while in college. While I can't vote for this movie I do applaud the lack of effort. Some people would ague that you get what you put in to something, but I think you got much more out of this than you put in to it. Its like the perpetual motion machine of laziness. You all have made a break through in laziness that will turn the lazy community on its head. Kudos
I don't think there are a lot of T Pain Auto tune jokes other there either, so nice job on that too.
whats the point its dumb and it has nothing to do with anything
This is close to the single worse entry ever...
I called a lazy community meeting... no one showed.
charlie chaplin, did you see zombies?
Ok, so the title's utterly appropriate here, but that's the best thing I can say about this clip. And--
Amen, Billy_Miller!
I, too, want to believe that this is better and somehow smarter than it actually comes across. Unfortunately (having been a teacher of middle school students) I'm afraid I can predict the grade this one's going to get. If it weren't so much like the typical conversations of college slackers, I might have found some positive point or creativity to the script...
I hope these guys do better in future pieces, I just wish I'd seen a stronger clip from them here... I don't know, I guess I would have been totally stressed about having a piece posted in a college competition and taking such a lackadaisical attitude...
So, constructively speaking: Good title, appropriate summary. Next time: try and follow the assignment and further the storyline. Spend some more time on editing--coming from the opening Rootclip piece to this one was sort of sloppy. Watch your audio levels for consistency (although I have seen--and strained to hear--worse). I wish you guys luck in the future...
Poor effort. Art mirrors reality? This clearly came together at the last minute. I suspect they can and will do better.
And this from the two people who probably have some of the most creative minds in the class. I get the feeling that your outside activities and productions take precedence over class work. Not a good choice. As tuition-paying, degree-seeking students enrolled in this class, THIS is your primary job (any other 'employer' in the future will feel the same). You have four more chances this semester.
Oh dear, this is what no effort gets a trio.
I... dont... get... it...
