The production value of this submission is very impressive so I'm voting for you...but I'm left wondering what is or who is "rose pedal" and Ben was an acceptable loss to whom? But, back to the production value. I'm loving and hating the VO. It worked and I liked it while also thinking "this is VO" not original track and it's not matching the jaw movement from over shoulder shot. Why did you choose that route? Was it stylistic or because you were short on mics for good sound?

You guys really have a great eye and style going for you. I've seen many a movie that didn't have as good a direction. I definitely recommend you develop some short scripts and get to shooting and enter festivals.

Good production values, but you really lost me in the jumble of who's crossing who and why. :/ Also, the jumps between chapters are making it harder to follow; I felt like the situation that presented itself in Chapter 5 got diffused or diverted in between here and there, and the result is a standalone that looks nice but has a flavor of detachment.

You're making your product well, but I'm not sure it's a product I want to eat. ;< Still, major kudos for putting together a really hot image, effective editing, and some strong acting.

Jalak Taka Naka was shot 0:16 and you can see his body laying on the ground at 1:45. I do think you could have made that more obvious. The gun shot could have been louder and you see the guy drop or something but I understood what happened.

I do think Mike's voice over is a little detached but it works. I like the setting and the emotion given to the characters. It's also an ending that I think works alright.

This is clearly the winner in my view. Would like to have seen everybody get in on this but this is the won I am voting for. Good job dood!

Thanks Eric! I have to say, I'm veryyy jealous of your scenery. Its a very cool location. Good catch on my saying "action." I totally missed that. Was it just me, or was this a really difficult story to finish up? I wish my submission could have been longer, but I simply didn't have the time. We had a one hour time frame to shoot our video, and only a day to edit. That sort of limitations cuts out a lot of the usual time I take for proper camera setup and the 1,000 takes I like to do. Hey, my bad; I really lost track of what was going on at the end of Rockness's. You're right, this one picks right up. I missed the terrorist completely the first time I watched this, which also shook up my perception of what was happening.

Thanks for pointing that out; I definitely retract my statement about continuity. This does continue right on from Chapter 5.

Thanks you guys (gals). Libby, yes, the VO was definitely not my first choice, I cringe everytime I hear it! I was on a very limited schedule and and had to do it myself instead of have my buddy redo his voice. I appreciate the feedback and I hope to find the time to make something longer than 3 minutes soon!
