After six months on the job, Ben finds himself out of work. How will he make rent? His roommate Mike wastes all of his time on video games and doesn't work. Or does he?

I like the KISS approach so much better for the first clip. When it starts out a little wild and too creative, you get to ludicrous too quickly (The adjective, not the rapper.)

*Oh, as a caveat, if his roommate takes him to a secret room where JakusB and Jim are tied up and gagged back to back, I'll kick some RootClip butt!!! Let's see some new creativity, please.

Hrmm, you folks might consider one other video format, like mp4 or something. I'm not at home right now and all I got is this darned iPhone. Just a suggestion. Guess I'll have to wait till I get home to praise this cool piece of work!

Pilamin, really? The iPhone only plays YouTube videos if I remember correctly. This (and 99% of other online videos) use flash. Flash is the best type of web format. Fastest download speed, best quality (for the speed), and best compatibility. The iPhone is about the only thing not flash compatible yet, but there's word its on the way.

Now, back on subject. I agree with David, I really want to see creativity. There's a certain line between inside jokes and unoriginality. Lets see some awesome ideas that can later become inside jokes ;)

iPhones also playback .mp4 just fine, which is what YouTube occasionally defaults to. Flash is alright, but more than one format is certainly a way to reach out, especially to the iTunes/Mac crowd (as elitist as that may be). Besides, a specially compressed file, with a much more compact default resolution, is very mobile-friendly, regardless of platform.

Anyway, can't wait to see the video when I get home. I wonder if Take Zer0 can submit an entry.

Wow, I'm actually pretty stumped. :< Nothing's jumping out at me for Chapter 2 on first glance... but I guess that's supposed to be the point (to spend some brain power thinking before entering), huh?

I'll start whipping some ideas at the wall to see if anything sticks. Otherwise, I may have to sit out and watch where you other guys take this and play off that. ._.

Stumped??? OK, he takes him in the shower and after a awkward, face to face bromance-like moment, he tilts the conditioner bottle and sends them and the shower stall plummeting down hundreds of feet into secret underground labyrinth ... Whether he's a spy, super hero or something more creative, clever or obscure ... that's up to you.

Some lights, a fan, camera motion ... and sound effects. Perhaps a scale model, cgi ... claymation. Easy stuff!!!

Solid.. Much better than Dr. Frank! Unfortunately they've still taken it down the same mobster path. Branching out seems to be a little difficult. If a story didn't have guns in it, then that would be something special.

I'm just surprised nobody took it down the drug angle...

Thank you! JakusB is a tool, and he's trying to cover his ass by saying it was sarcasm. Speaking of creativity, try making something without guns and someone getting killed every two seconds. As a matter of fact, try making something that's NOT a rootclip. Continually making fragments of bad stories won't really get you anywhere.
