I love this, one of my two favorites so far. The creepy/scary feel came across very well. Great Job I really enjoyed this one.
Some really nice shots in here! Great picture and aesthetic choices, although some of the audio mixing could stand a tweaking. I like the direction and the execution was fair, although you could probably stand to intensify the eerie paranoia by playing with some other angles and a few other disturbing spook-moments (the bloody hand smear is a nice one).
The weakest element at work here was probably how long it takes to break into some intensity; I don't think most viewers are really watching closely (I take the liberty of speaking on behalf of others, based only on myself) until Dr. Frank turns on the tiny lantern after the screams in the dark. Everything preceding that moment really doesn't hold much merit in the video, at least for me.
Really impressive and a fun launch pad to Chapter 3, though! I like where it's headed and think you chose a brilliant direction to lead this Rootclip in! For that alone, you may have my vote.
I really liked this one. I like taking this story in a monster direction. The cinematography was very nice, I liked the touch of using that little lamp. This chapter does well to establish the conflict clearly without getting too deep. Well done, you get my vote.

the deadline was closing in when i decided to enter so I thought up, filmed, edited/graded and submitted this video in 5 hours... there wasnt much i could do to try different dialogue or find better props.
RMag: im glad it came out well, i was afraid it wouldnt be at all creepy since i had to do the camerawork and framing myself while acting
FungusRidden: thanks for the CC! yea i was thinking about going straight into the suspense part but it ran too short so i just stuck a scene before the light switch. theres a lot i would change if i had more time but whats done is done

I don't believe this is in last ,A) a color tone BS 20sec of beep WTF and B) lego stop action music thief . Sorry dude ,judges still have to weigh in though.
I'm impressed that you did all of this yourself. The spooky tone is promising, but I wish the very end had more punch.

This one has a great goofy tone, and some very clever dialog. Plus the fact that it actually generates some tension after the blackout - nicely done.
I really liked the "diabolical laughs can only last so long" line and you had some really nice camera angles (and the scarcity of the lantern light added to the mood). Very cool (although the creepy angle of this clip doesn't quite blend with the 1st clip--maybe if you'd included some quirky props that show up in the lantern light as he searches the house you could have created a balance between the light and dark moods...). Very nicely done, though--and by one guy! Cool. Hope we all see more of your stuff here. :-)
