Really stellar entry, and definitely (technically) the best. The escalation here at Rootclip is getting tremendous; every chapter is becoming a display of top-notch films, and it's a shame only one gets used... ;_;
I'd say this chapter maintains the same goofy chit-chat from Chapter 1, but I might rather have seen activity than dialogue. I mean, activity in the foreground. That didn't spook me out. But this is still a really, really strong entry, and all personal hesitation aside (I hate clowns), I could see this one sweeping the chapter for the win. The only question is, what else could appear in the next 16 hours....?

I agree that it is very nicely shot, but unfortunately that didn't do enough for me. I just found it to be a cheese fest. But that works for some people so I wouldn't be surprised to see this one take the win. Good work.

MayDisposition I'm not sure I understand all the words you have written, but wow. This short is awesome and leaves the creators for chapter 3 to go in any direction they want. I could see this going down a comical path or an evil clown horror movie path. Either way, if this gets picked I can see some great work coming from Chapter 3 submissions.

I enjoyed the lighting in this video and the story really was left on a cliffhanger. Well done on that! I also liked the part where Igor was spouting off all of the "wrong" answers about what children liked. Funny stuff!
I think the only reason you guys couldn't pull this one off was that you went with clowns. Dude...they're creepy to more people than just me!

In some ways, the creepiness really worked in this entry. I guess we just needed a firmer direction to take the creepiness in. But feel free to throw in a clown anytime you like, because he did an excellent job of being ever-so-slightly sketchy there in the background. A RootClip like "Dr. Frank" could really use a bit of creepiness mixed in.
Thanks for the positive comments everyone! We had fun making this clip. Josh kept cracking us up on the set as the creepy clown. A little disappointed that we didn't get at least one judge's vote, but that's alright. Now we're just trying to come up with an idea for Chapter 3...
I didn't make it for this round of judging but I think is my favorite of the entries. Loved the clown. He made me laugh...and yet wet myself with fear all at the same time.
I wanted this one to win... I was too late.
