lol! interesting idea. The Katie Couric line caught me off guard, hilarious!
Great idea! I love that you guys kept continuity with the set using the backdrops. Little details like that really help this one along. I love the story too, and a good overall sense of humor.
I admit that I was really skeptical about this entry, but Katie Couric was ingenious. Very clever line, guys!
However, I'm not even sure Katie Couric can save you. The twist is interesting, although I'm not sure I'd personally want to unleash the confusion on the rest of the movie. Also, making this clip run a quicker path to the point would have helped maintain more urgency and excitement. For example, cutting the phone call actually would have made this a cleaner, easier piece for the audience, I think -- it seems less likely that the TV was running in the next room, or that they for no reason turn it on, but the audience would readily accept the odds anyway (given that they're accepting mad scientists and monsters in apartments, and body-swapping).
Regardless, there's a lot of potential here, and no matter how this chapter turns out, I think you should continue plotting entries for the other chapters. If nothing else, you've proven that you know how to spin a story into new, unchartered places. :)
@FungusRidden
im confused about your comment. they were watching Doogie Howser at the beginning of the last chapter - so the tv would have already been running and showing Doogie Howser, and they wouldn't have switched it to the news if it weren't for the phone call.
Hey, i thought this was a great spin on things. At first I was skeptical, but the idea is certainly out of the left field and original. The Katie Couric joke got a laugh from me!

I like the continuation of Frank's attempt at hip vocabulary. lol. for realzies?
A for originality. But the pacing was off.
Why is everyone mentioning a Katie Couric joke ... wasn't that Katie Couric? Is she you neighbor or something?
This one is my favorite! It definately stands out from the rest as an original idea rather than just ripping off frankenstein movies. I liked the continuity with the set and the characters. It would be a challenge to follow this like FungusRidden said, but that is what I think is fun about this competition, the unexpected turns and unpredictability. If you are an aspiring filmmaker you know you can make predictable. It is original that's hard. For realzies.
This one is a lot of fun, good job. It's awesome to see all these new people in here. I hope everyone sticks around and tells their friends. I hereby dub thee all... Dirtbags.
Katie Couric line had me laughing out loud. Best one I've seen so far. Keep it up!.
Pretty good, although I would have cut the phone call and the "-sies" dialog is just plain annoying.
very clever idea with some hilarious opportunities for continued running gags. and one of the single best jokes in any chapter so far.
Very cute. Liked the DH references; the Katie Couric bit was beautiful. I liked some of word choices "for realzies?" and the pizza bites tie-in (and Igor "looking good").
I hope to see more from you guys here in this competition. :-) For realzies!
Awesomesies! I had to watch this twice before I got it, but when I did, I loved it!!
I really liked how you not only created the same characters by keeping their wardrobe in tact, but you also had the apartment rooms looking very similar. Nice touch!
Well done on Katie Couric's make-up, BTW!
