Correspondence From Fans Overseas

We've been contacted by people all over the globe about Rootclip. Our latest correspondence comes from our "Best Freind" Warrick, in South Africa.

I am from South Africa and would like to enter this competition. Will you be making it available to the rest of the world.

Charlize Theron is south african.
Gavin Hood who is directing "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" is also from south africa.

Please, Please, Please can we enter. It will be in english I promise. I will use the money to move to america and make indie films with you guys (did I mention I love americans). I need a way to get my film making skills out to the people, we have none here in Africa.

In all seriousness, I'm thankful that you contacted us Warrick! You're free to compete but are only eligible for chapter 5 of the "Chance Encounter" story, as chapter 6 is only open to winners of the previous four chapters. The next contest begins on the 22nd of this month and all rules are being updated to allow international submissions. Thanks for your interest! We look forward to hearing more from you and seeing some of your work!!

Hi Erik,

I believe a friend of mine has already spoken to you via Email about submitting from Germany. I am actually a German citizen as well allthough I grew up in South Africa. From what I understand you told him that It would be fine to submit a video from Germany which is why we went ahead and created one..but now I hear we cannot submit it..? I do know people in the US.. quite a few actually who would be happy to submit it for us.. but the deadline has closed.. had we known you meant that we can only submit for the next story we would not have put so much effort into creating this one :( Please could you help us find a sollution so we can submit out short movie for this story?
