That's 2 in a row for team DuSome, who won by a hair in chapter 5 of Identity Theft (the 2008 UTK Project) with their suspense entry Midnight Blue. I'm sensing a theme in their naming conventions.

Chapter 5 was the closest vote battle in this story. With only 0.8% difference between first and second place, DuSome just barely pulled this one off. The judges voted 2 for Midnight Blue, 2 for The Circle of Death and 1 for How Kevin Got His Groove Back. It was the user votes that made the difference in this decision. IMPORTANT...

We're changing the dates for this final chapter because of some conflicts with the class schedule, so the students will have a little over 2 weeks to complete the final chapter. The new deadline for submissions on chapter 6 is going to be December 1, 2008 at 12 Noon EST. Voting will span from the end of the submission period through 12 Noon EST on Friday, December 5.

We're also going to extend the submission length for the final chapter to 3 minutes. Make sure to keep your videos under that time limit everyone! The students are also required to submit a drama for the final chapter of the story as per instructions for the professor. I'm SO excited to see how this all plays out!
