The results are in, everything's been tabulated and Santa (a.k.a. "Jim") has given his official stamp of approval. JakusB has claimed the final chapter of Doctor Frank and takes home the grand prize of a $2,000 Visa gift card and a slick Porta-Brace Side Sling Pack. That will be perfect for carrying around all of the new camera equipment he's going to buy with that gift card. Right JakusB? Hahah!

In case you missed it, here's the video that took the prize for this final chapter in the Doctor Frank story. JakusB was also able to tie up some loose ends from the Chance Encounter story that finished this past Fall.

I've got to give props to the other submitters in this final round. Sadly, we had a no-show, but the competition was still pretty good IMO. Everyone deserves a round of applause for the work they've done these past few months. Let's not forget about the previous winning chapter submissions from JoshuaJMills, Tinsoldier8 and Bringyourownbowl. They've all done fantastic work and we hope that all of you have learned a thing or two about moviemaking through the process.

But wait, there's more! Not only did we finish the Doctor Frank story, we also completed the UTK project Identity Theft. These students, from Dr. Legg's film production class at the University of Tennessee, really gave it their all and learned a lot about making movies. They also learned a lot about the intricacies of Rootclip, as evidenced in one of their submissions.

Team RenderThis deserves to be congratulated for winning the final chapter of Identity Theft - The UTK Project. They also cleaned up on chapter 2 and chapter 3. Team DuSome also did some great work adding to the story by winning chapter 4 and chapter 5. Great work to all of you who competed! Here's the video that took the final chapter of Identity Theft.

Though there were no prizes for this project, the students grades were directly affected by voter turnout and standings at the close of each chapter's voting period. I'd like to give them all an 'A', but we have to leave that up to Dr. Legg. Go easy on them, professor! We really have enjoyed hosting the competition and providing a venue where the students could work on their video production and editing skills. Another group of people that truly deserves to be applauded is our judges. Each judge has spent hours watching all of the submissions and helping to provide a just voting system for all of us. Their experience in film and online video has proved to be very helpful in the voting as well as the comments for each submission to the site. Thank you all for taking the time that you have to take a granular look at these chapter submissions and provide your much appreciated feedback.
