Creating an account allows us to maintain the integrity of the voting system. It also cuts down on all those annoying comments by anonymous people. Think of it as a little bit of accountability to make sure Rootclip is fun for everyone.
Email Address: If you submit videos this helps us track you down and get you your money (assuming you win, of course). We don't spam (we hate it as much as you do) and we will never sell or distribute your email address to third parties under any circumstances.
Username: You've got to be called something. Pick any name that's not already taken, between 1 and 30 letters or numbers.
Password: So that random strangers can't login to your account. It can be 4-10 letters or numbers and it's good if you can remember it, too.
Birthday: Federal law requires that you be 13 years of age or older to create an account that stores your username and email address. We're just playin' by the rules.
