Here's how it all works:
- We start Chapter 1 of a new story with a short clip.
- Users shoot their version of the next chapter and submit it.
- Everyone votes on their favorite and the Judge's panel counts for 50%.
- The video with the highest percentage of votes wins - submitter will compete for grand prize.
- We move on to the next chapter and the submissions and voting starts all over again!

You Watch Videos
Your job is simple: watch videos and vote on which video you think should continue the story!
- The community vote makes up 50% of a submission's total score.
- The Judge's vote makes up the other 50%.
- Comment on videos and argue the finer points of filmmaking. You know you want to!
You Make Videos
So you think you're the next Scorsese? Submit a video and prove it!
- Keep it under 2 minutes and be sure to advance the story in some way.
- You win if you rake in the highest percentage of the total votes.
- A chapter winner gets a cool Rootclip t-shirt. Chapter winners can compete in the final chapter for a shot at the Grand Prize!
